Understand deeply.
Research discipline, experimental thinking, and comfort with difficult biological questions.
I’m Ketan — a molecular life science researcher exploring the space between biological discovery, ventures, technology translation, and the people who make things happen.
Pick a perspective. The substance stays the same — the emphasis shifts to what matters most in your world.
The through-line is curiosity about how strong scientific ideas travel: from the bench, through validation and translation, into teams and programs that bring them closer to the world.
Different settings, connected by an interest in putting ideas to work.
I’m interested in work that requires understanding the science, asking whether it matters, and helping good ideas move forward.
Research discipline, experimental thinking, and comfort with difficult biological questions.
Connecting biological promise to feasibility, people, unmet needs, and commercial possibilities.
Outreach, coordination, operational follow-through, and the practical work of supporting teams.
I'm Ketan Chandra, an MSc Molecular Life Science student at the University of Lübeck. I work at the intersection of experimental research, biotech innovation, and the operational work that helps scientific teams progress.
In the laboratory, I've worked on transporter-variant and TGM2 cloning at UKSH; therapy-associated cellular senescence and RNA-seq at CRCHUM in Montréal as a MITACS Globalink intern; and DR1261 cloning and recombinant expression during my BARC thesis. Beyond the lab, I’ve scouted early-stage biotech companies with LongeVC and worked on scientific strategy and biomarker evaluation at BioSignatures Tech.
I’ve also worked with Nucleate’s global membership operations and now contribute to Nucleate Germany’s Activator. I enjoy the overlap between science, entrepreneurship and the people and systems that make both possible.
Outside work, I play badminton, take long walks, and make the most of sunny days. I love meeting new people, exploring new cities and cultures, and learning random bits of information just because they’re interesting.

Research spaces, interesting rooms, and the people who make the journey memorable.
Research teams, biotech companies, venture and technology-transfer groups, or people building the systems around them — I'd be interested to connect.
